About Us

Hi I am Maiya Joy and with the help of my partner Jack Smithson we Run HGK9CO, whilst Jack does the dog training I cover the dog walking.

I have lots of experience with different dogs I have worked with breeds large and small. I have a patterdale Terrier myself who sometimes accompanies us on our walks!

I love caring and connecting with dogs, building a relationship is everything for me. I love seeing how exited dogs get when I come to pick them up and take them on their dog walk!

we make sure we can be as reliable as possible, so far I have never taken a day off from dog walking and if I ever do Jack is always around to help cover.

Our services at Harrogate K9 Company

We provide many services for your dog. group walks, solo walks, Dog Training. we do provide one off services such as vet trips, weekend walks / daycare but this is for existing / regular customers only.

Group Walks

for our group walks we have a morning walk in public spaces such as killing hall moor, stain burn forrest, local reservoirs and many other places around harrogate. dogs must have a trained recall for this walk. we also have a lunchtime walk in one of our enclosed dog fields. this is great for dogs that can't usually go off the lead!

Solo Walks

Solo walks are subject to availability but if this is something you need do give us a call or text and we can arrange something for you. we try to bring all dogs into the group walks when they are ready so they can make friends and have fun.

this walk is great for dogs who need some time to let off some steam! Our field is over one acre in size and is fully enclosed with 6 ft fencing and a double gate system.
